About the Session

In this session, we will be reviewing the article “Effect of a Reduced PCV10 Dose Schedule on Pneumococcal Carriage in Vietnam”, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, November 2024.

The purpose of the Journal Club is to present a critique of an article to better understand how to frame effective clinical questions, understand databases, perform searches, and review the basics of study designs, relevant statistics, and the concepts of ethics and justice. This initiative is co-led by Young WSPID and volunteers from the regional pediatric infectious diseases’ societies.
