Launch Update

  • Delivered the finalized 130 chapters to OUP in March 2025
  • Aimed for launch at WSPID in Oct 2025
  • Some changes at OUP have meant a delay
  • There will be a chance to sign up at WSPID to get the book as soon as released
  • Launch WSPID webinar series planned for 2026
  • Regional & local launches featuring local/regional authors

5th Edition Contributors

In the 5th edition, there are 179 new authors from around the globe.  In total, there are 249 authors from 40 countries.  In comparison, the 4th edition had 131 authors from 17 countries.

WSPID is deeply grateful to the 5th edition editors, Prof. Mark Cotton (AfSPID) and Prof. Penelope Bryant (ANZPID), whose tireless dedication brought this edition to fruition. We also extend our sincere thanks to all the authors and reviewers who contributed their expertise and time. This edition truly reflects the collaborative efforts of the global #PedsID community.
